Top man, Rob Hollywood, has been working in painting and decorating and property maintenance for many years. He established RSJJ Painting & Decorating in 2007. Since then, we’ve worked in all kinds of environments from factories to medical centre, office blocks to private homes.
Absolutely! We’re no strangers to property maintenance. West Yorkshire social housing and flat complexes are typical of some of the environments for which we’ve been responsible. We’re more than capable of undertaking the odd bit of maintenance work alongside our painting and decorating.
We’re based in Hebden Bridge and most of our work is in West Yorkshire and Lancashire. Painting and decorating contracts do take us further afield now and then and we’re happy to travel for the right contract.
Preparation. We prepare, we prime and only then do we paint or paper, using top quality materials. No flimsy lining papers or paints that don’t stand the test of time. We want our clients to still be recommending us two years down the line. And they are.
Yes. We’ll work out a schedule with you in advance, to minimise disruption to your guests, and if necessary we’ll bolster our team with tried and trusted associate decorators to deliver the job on time and to our usual high standards.
We’re very tidy workers. We also take health and safety very seriously. Before we begin, we do a thorough risk assessment so we can minimise the potential hazards to you, your customers and any other visitors you might have.
We’ve undertaken all sorts of specialist work over the years. From murals to engaging trompe l’oeil effects. So talk to us if you need something that stands out.
First and foremost, we’re commercial decorators but now and then we enjoy doing the occasional domestic project.
No way. We’re clean and punctual – we even bring our own hoovers! – we are non-smokers and we dont sit around slurping tea. Except for a quick lunch break – which we can take elsewhere if you prefer – we’re on the job all day. And if it makes things easier for you, we can work nights when you’re closed to the public.
